Car
Start from Cabo de Gata and drive towards Roquetas de Mar. Take the A-7 motorway, which is well signposted. After approximately 20 km, take the exit towards Roquetas de Mar. Continue on the N-340 road until you reach the intersection with C. Manuel Gómez. Turn onto C. Manuel Gómez, and you will find Castillo de Santa Ana at the end of this street. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared for potential fees depending on the time of year.
Public Transportation
From Cabo de Gata, you can take the Alsa bus service to Roquetas de Mar. Buses run regularly and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Roquetas de Mar bus station, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes to Castillo de Santa Ana. Head west on Av. de la Constitución, then turn right onto C. Manuel Gómez. The castle will be located at the end of this street. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance for return times, as they may vary.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can also take a taxi from Cabo de Gata to Castillo de Santa Ana. This option is more expensive, with fares typically ranging from 25 to 35 euros depending on traffic and time of day. The journey should take about 20 minutes. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver beforehand.
