Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Cabo de Gata. Head southeast on the main road (A-100) towards Almería. Follow this road for about 10 km. Take the exit toward N-340A, and then follow it for about 2 km. Finally, turn onto the road leading to Punto de encuento Ecoágata, which is located at the coordinates 36.7960116, -2.0632761. There's parking available nearby, but be aware that some areas may require a small fee.

• Public Transportation

  For public transportation, take the local bus from Cabo de Gata to Almería. The bus service is operated by 'Transportes de Almería.' The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Almería, transfer to a bus heading toward Las Negras. Ask the driver to drop you off at the closest stop to Punto de encuento Ecoágata. From there, it’s a short walk (about 15 minutes) to the destination. Make sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time as they can vary.

• Biking

  If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle in Cabo de Gata. Follow the A-100 road towards Almería for approximately 10 km, then switch to the N-340A for another 2 km. There are bike lanes along some sections, but be cautious of traffic. The ride is scenic and takes about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your pace. Remember to wear a helmet and bring plenty of water.
