Getting There

Bus
From the center of Cádiz, head to the main bus station, Estación de Autobuses de Cádiz, which is located near the Plaza de España. You can take the city bus number 1 or walk to the bus station. At the bus station, look for the buses heading to Matalascañas. The most common routes are operated by Damas or Comes. Make sure to check the schedule as buses may not run frequently. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride which takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. The bus will drop you off in Matalascañas.

Once you arrive in Matalascañas, you will need to walk to Playa Caño Guerrero. Exit the bus station and walk towards the coast via Avenida de las Marismas. Continue straight until you reach the beach. Playa Caño Guerrero is located in Sector H. You will walk about 2 km from the bus drop-off point to reach the beach. Follow the signs that indicate the beach access points.
