Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from the center of Santiago de Compostela, take the AP-9 motorway towards Madrid. Follow the motorway for approximately 550 km. Once you approach Madrid, take the exit for A-42 towards Madrid/Centro. Continue on this road until you reach the city center. Look for signs directing you towards Plaza de San Martín, where the Estatua del Padre Piquer is located. Parking in the vicinity may be limited, so consider using a nearby parking garage.

  To reach Estatua del Padre Piquer using public transportation, start at the Santiago de Compostela bus station. Take a long-distance bus to Madrid.
