Getting There

    If you are traveling by car from any location in Camino de Santiago, you will first need to head toward the A-6 highway. Follow the signs for Madrid. Once on the A-6, continue for about 460 kilometers. As you approach Madrid, follow the signs for M-30, which will take you around the city. Exit M-30 at the exit for Avenida de América and merge onto Avenida de América. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with Calle de Vallehermoso. Turn onto Calle de Vallehermoso, which will take you directly towards the city center. Look for signs to Centro and navigate to Calle de Vallehermoso, which will turn into Calle de Gran Vía. From Gran Vía, turn left onto Calle de Jacometrezo and then right onto Calle de Preciados. Continue until you reach Plaza Santa Bárbara, which will be on your left. Parking may be available in nearby garages but may incur an additional cost (approximately €2-€4 per hour).
