Car

If you are driving, head towards the A6 motorway from your current location. Follow the signs for Madrid and merge onto the A6. Continue for approximately 40 kilometers and take the exit towards San Lorenzo de El Escorial. After exiting, follow the signs for San Lorenzo de El Escorial. Once you enter the town, drive straight until you reach the intersection with C/ Floridablanca. Turn right onto C/ Floridablanca, and the Basílica de El Escorial will be on your left at number 12. There is parking available nearby.

To reach the Basílica de El Escorial using public transportation, first find the nearest bus or train station. You can take a Renfe train from Madrid's Atocha or Chamartín stations towards El Escorial. The journey takes approximately 1 hour.
