Take the A-67 highway towards Torrelavega, and then merge onto the A-8 towards Castro Urdiales. Continue on the A-8 for about 30 kilometers, then take exit 174 for Santoña. Follow the signs to Santoña and continue until you reach the town. Once in Santoña, follow the signs to Playa de Berria. There is limited parking available near the beach, so arrive early to secure a spot.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from the Santander bus station to Santoña. The journey takes about 1 hour. Upon arrival at the Santoña bus station, you can either walk or take a taxi to Playa de Berria. The walk is approximately 2 kilometers and takes about 30 minutes. From Playa de Berria, you will need to hike down to the Faro del Caballo. The trail is well-marked but can be steep and rocky, so wear appropriate footwear and be prepared for a moderately challenging hike. Make sure to check bus schedules for return trips to Santander.
