Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the city center of Santander. Head east on Calle del Río de la Pila toward Calle de la Virgen del Mar. Continue straight to merge onto the S-10 road. Follow the S-10 and take the exit toward A-67/Camargo. Merge onto A-67 and continue until you reach exit 2 for A-67 toward Camargo. Once on the A-67, follow the signs for Camargo. After about 10 minutes, take the exit toward Camargo Centro. Continue straight until you reach Marismas de Alday, located at 39600 Camargo. There is free parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Marismas de Alday via public transportation, start from the main bus station in Santander. Take the bus line that goes to Camargo; lines 15 and 22 typically serve this route. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Camargo, disembark at the 'Camargo Centro' stop. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to Marismas de Alday. Head east on Calle de la Independencia, then turn left onto Av. de la Concordia, which will lead you directly to the park.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Santander and follow the scenic coastal route towards Camargo. The ride takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Once in Camargo, follow local bike paths leading to Marismas de Alday. There are bike racks available for parking at the entrance of the park.
