If you are driving, head towards the A-62 highway. From Valladolid, take exit 151 towards Peñafiel. Continue on the N-122 road for approximately 30 km. As you approach Peñafiel, follow the signs for 'Castillo de Peñafiel'. Once in Peñafiel, follow the signs to C. Subida al Castillo, where the castle is located. There is parking available near the base of the castle.
Public Transportation
To reach Peñafiel Castle by public transport, start at Valladolid's main bus station. Take a bus from Valladolid to Peñafiel, which operates several times daily. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Peñafiel, exit the bus station and follow the signs to the castle. It is a short 15-minute walk uphill to C. Subida al Castillo, where the castle is located.
