Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards Toledo via the A-42 motorway. Depending on your starting point in Castile-La Mancha, use the appropriate highways to reach the A-42. Once you arrive in Toledo, follow signs for 'Centro' or 'Alcázar.' Upon entering Toledo, navigate to C. de la Union, where the Alcázar de Toledo is located. There are parking options available near the Alcázar, but be prepared to pay for parking (approximately €1.50 per hour).

• Train

  For those using public transportation, take a train from your nearest station to Toledo. Renfe operates frequent trains from major cities in Castile-La Mancha to Toledo. Once you arrive at Toledo train station, exit and catch Bus Line 5, which goes directly to the Alcázar. The bus fare is approximately €1.50, and the journey takes around 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can walk from the train station to Alcázar, which is about a 30-minute walk.

• Bus

  If you're already in Toledo and prefer to use local buses, you can take Bus Line 5 from various points in the city directly to the Alcázar. Buses are frequent and run every 15-20 minutes. The fare is €1.50. Make sure to check the local bus schedules for any changes.
