Upon arrival at Atocha, you can take Metro Line 1 (the light blue line) towards Pinar de Chamartín and transfer at Tribunal to Line 10 (the dark blue line) towards Puerta del Sur. Disembark at the Ópera station, which is near Puerta del Príncipe.
