Car
If you are driving from the Catalonia Pyrenees, take the N-260 road towards Girona. Continue on N-260 until you reach the AP-7 motorway. Merge onto the AP-7 heading south towards Girona. Take exit 7 for the C-66 towards Girona/La Bisbal d'Empordà. Follow C-66 which will lead you directly into Girona city. Once in Girona, look for signs directing you to the city center. You can park your car at one of the public parking areas near the historical center, such as Parking Saba, located at Carrer de la Força. From there, Muralles de Girona is approximately a 10-minute walk away.
Public Transportation
To reach Muralles de Girona via public transport, take a train from a nearby station in the Catalonia Pyrenees to Girona. The Renfe train service operates routes from various locations, including Figueres and Ripoll. Once you arrive at Girona train station, exit the station and walk towards the bus stop located just outside. You can catch a local bus (Line 1 or 3) that will take you towards the city center. Get off at the stop named 'Pl. Independència'. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Muralles de Girona, following Carrer de Banyoles.
Taxi
For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from your location in the Catalonia Pyrenees. Taxis are available at major points in the region, or you can call for one. The taxi will take you directly to Muralles de Girona, located at Carrer de Banyoles, 17. Be prepared for a fare that may range from €60 to €100 depending on your starting point and local traffic conditions.
