Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car from the Catalonia Pyrenees, take the N-260 road heading southeast toward Barcelona. Follow the signs for the AP-7 motorway. Merge onto the AP-7 and continue for approximately 130 km. Take exit 22 toward Barcelona and merge onto the B-10 (Ronda del Litoral). Continue on B-10 and follow signs for Ciutat Vella. Once you reach the city center, look for parking options, as street parking is limited. The nearest parking facilities are at 'Parking Saba' located at C/ Pau Claris, 105, just a 10-minute walk from Palau de la Música Catalana.

• Train

  For those preferring public transportation, take a train from one of the main stations in the Catalonia Pyrenees, such as La Seu d'Urgell or Puigcerdà, to Barcelona Sants station. The journey typically takes about 2-3 hours depending on your departure point. Upon arrival at Barcelona Sants, transfer to the L3 (Green Line) metro towards Canyelles and alight at the Liceu station. From Liceu, it's a short 10-minute walk to Palau de la Música Catalana. Just head northeast on La Rambla, turn left onto Carrer de la Portaferrissa, and then right onto C/ Palau de la Música.

• Bus

  You can also take a bus from various towns in the Catalonia Pyrenees to Barcelona. Look for services like ALSA or local bus operators that connect to Barcelona Nord bus station. The bus ride may take approximately 3-4 hours. Once you arrive at Barcelona Nord, you can take the metro by boarding the L1 (Red Line) towards Hospital de Bellvitge and transfer at the Universitat stop to the L2 (Purple Line) towards Paral·lel. At Paral·lel, switch to the Funicular de Montjuïc to reach the top of the hill. However, for Palau de la Música, it's best to take the L2 back to Passeig de Gràcia and then transfer to L3 (Green Line) to Liceu station, followed by a 10-minute walk.
