Getting There

• By Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by getting onto the C-58 or AP-7 from your current location in Catalonia. Follow the signs for Martorell. Once you reach Martorell, take exit 27 towards C-243a. Continue on C-243a, and then take the BP-1151 road, following the signs for Monestir de Sant Genís de Rocafort. The monastery is located at 08760 Martorell, Barcelona. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful of local parking regulations.

• By Train

  To reach Monestir de Sant Genís de Rocafort by train, make your way to a nearby train station that services the R4 line (such as Plaça Catalunya or Sants Estació in Barcelona). Board a train heading towards Manresa and get off at Martorell station. From Martorell, you can either walk to the monastery (approximately 30 minutes) or catch a taxi for a short ride (around 10 minutes). Taxis are available outside the train station, and the fare will be approximately €10.

• By Bus

  If you prefer to take a bus, you can find lines that connect to Martorell from various locations in Catalonia. Check the local bus schedules for routes that include stops in Martorell. Once you arrive at the Martorell bus station, you can walk to Monestir de Sant Genís de Rocafort, which is about a 30-minute walk. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the bus station to the monastery.
