A beautiful, relaxed day out with a wonderful guide

We were 8 women, with different levels of confidence on a bike, and we wanted something we could do together. This tour was perfect. It was really well organised, and the team were quick and helpful with information beforehand, including advice on taxis to get there and the kind of wine on offer. A special mention to Martin, our guide, who was so lovely from start to finish. He was warm, patient, really friendly, and made everyone feel comfortable whatever their level. He also took loads of photos and videos of us and sent them on afterwards, which was a really thoughtful touch. He made a great day even better. The bike ride itself is beautiful - we saw rice fields, some wildlife, learned about the area. The vineyard has lovely views, the staff were friendly, and the wine was excellent. The whole day felt relaxed and unhurried. One very small suggestion: we were a bit hungry by the end, as we’d expected a little more food. It might be worth the winery either offering a bit more, or making it clear that it’s just a few nibbles so people can plan around it. Highly recommend, especially for a group of friends. BACK IN MEDIEVAL TIMES WITH RODRIGO

Rodrigo was one of the two best guides we have had the opportunity to work with. He completely rearranged our tour to allow us to see what we wanted to see rather than what was proposed. He was positive, helpful, knowledgeable and worldly experienced. We spent 9 hours with Rodrigo and enjoyed every minute. We added Besalu to the tour and it was our favorite stop as a truly medieval town. Montserrat was not to be missed. Gerona was a plus but we hit Vic in the afternoon shutdown. It could not be helped as we were on a very fast track. Besalu with its bridge, gate and medieval buildings was our favorite, with its two no nonsense, practical but well planned “economy” churches.
