Car
If you are driving, start from the town of Cazorla. Head east on the A-6203 towards La Iruela. After about 8 minutes, you will reach La Iruela. Once in La Iruela, look for the signs directing you to the 'Cascada de la Poza'. You will find a small parking area near the trailhead. Please note that parking may have a small fee, typically around €2-€5 depending on the season.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Cazorla to La Iruela. Buses operate regularly, and the journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in La Iruela, you can walk to the Cascada de la Poza. Follow the signs towards the waterfall, which is about a 30-minute hike on a well-marked trail. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water.
Hiking
For those already in the Cazorla Natural Park, you can hike to the Cascada de la Poza from various trails. One popular route is to start from the main visitor center in Cazorla and follow the marked paths towards La Iruela. The hike can take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace. Be prepared for a moderate trek with some elevation changes.
