If you are driving, head towards Girona city center. Use the AP-7 motorway and take exit 7 towards Girona. Follow the signs for Girona and then take the C-66. Once you reach Girona, follow signs to the city center. You can park your car at the 'Parking de la Devesa' located at Av. de la Devesa, 17001 Girona, which is about a 10-minute walk from Plaça de la Independència. From the parking lot, head southeast on Av. de la Devesa and continue onto Carrer de la Creu. Turn left onto Carrer de la Ronda del Quart and follow it until you reach Plaça de la Independència.

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus to Girona. Many companies operate routes from various towns in Costa Brava to Girona, including Sarfa and Moventis. Once you arrive at the bus station in Girona, you can either walk or take a local bus to Plaça de la Independència. The nearest bus stop is 'Plaça de la Independència' itself, which you can reach by walking about 5 minutes from the bus station. To use local buses, you can purchase tickets at the station or on the bus, with prices typically around €1.50.

For those coming from further away, the train is a great option. Take a train to Girona from major cities such as Barcelona or Figueres. Once you arrive at Girona train station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located outside. From there, you can catch a local bus to Plaça de la Independència or choose to walk, which will take about 20 minutes. Walking directions: Head southwest on Carrer de la Ronda de Sant Antoni, then turn left onto Carrer de la Creu. Follow this road until you reach Plaça de la Independència.
