By Car
If you are traveling by car from any location in Costa del Sol, you will want to head towards the A-7 motorway. Once on the A-7, follow the signs for Antequera. After approximately 40 minutes, take exit 122 towards A-343/Antequera. Continue on A-343 for about 10 km until you reach Antequera. Once you arrive in Antequera, follow signs for the city center. The Museo de la Ciudad de Antequera (MVCA) is located at Plaza Coso Viejo, s/n, 29200 Antequera. There is street parking available nearby, but be aware that it may be limited during peak hours.

By Train
To visit the Museo de la Ciudad de Antequera using public transportation, you can take a train from Málaga. The Renfe train station in Málaga is located near the city center. Board a train heading towards Antequera. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes. Upon arriving at Antequera train station, you can either take a taxi (about 5 minutes and costs around €8) or walk to the museum, which takes about 20 minutes. Head northeast on Calle San Juan towards Calle Cantareros, continue straight until you reach the museum at Plaza Coso Viejo, s/n.

You can also reach Antequera by bus from Málaga. Head to the Estación de Autobuses (Bus Station) in Málaga and purchase a ticket for Antequera. The bus ride lasts approximately 1 hour. Buses run frequently, so check the schedule for the next available service. Once you arrive at the Antequera bus station, you can take a taxi (approximately €8) or walk to the Museo de la Ciudad de Antequera. The walking route is about 15 minutes: exit the bus station, head east on Avenida de Andalucía, turn right onto Calle Cantareros, and continue straight to Plaza Coso Viejo, s/n.
