Walking
If you're starting from the Cuenca Cathedral, head southwest on Calle del Cardenal towards Plaza Mayor. Continue straight to Plaza Mayor, which is about a 5-minute walk. Once at the plaza, look for Calle Alfonso VIII, which is on the east side of the plaza. Turn onto Calle Alfonso VIII and walk for approximately 10 minutes. You will pass various shops and cafes along the way. Keep walking until you reach number 31, where the Casas de Colores are located. The vibrant buildings will be on your left side.
Public Transport
From the Cuenca bus station, take bus line 1 or line 2 heading towards the city center. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop near Plaza Mayor. Once you exit the bus, walk towards Plaza Mayor, which is about a 5-minute walk. From the plaza, find Calle Alfonso VIII and proceed along it for about 10 minutes until you reach Casas de Colores at number 31.

If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Cuenca. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Calle Alfonso VIII, número 31'. The ride will typically take around 5 to 10 minutes depending on your starting location. The driver will drop you off right in front of the Casas de Colores.
