Start from the Plaza Mayor, the central square of Cuenca. From the Plaza Mayor, head northeast on Calle Alfonso VIII. Continue walking straight for about 600 meters. You will pass by various shops and cafes along the way. As you approach the intersection with Calle de San Pedro, keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Puerta de San Juan, which is located on your left. The entrance is at Calle Alfonso VIII, 4. The site is a beautiful historical landmark, so take your time to explore the area once you arrive.

Public Transportation (Bus)
If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take the local bus from the Cuenca bus station. Board any bus that heads towards the city center and get off at the Plaza Mayor stop. From there, follow the walking directions mentioned above, heading northeast on Calle Alfonso VIII for about 600 meters to reach Puerta de San Juan.

If you are arriving by train, exit the Cuenca train station and head to the main road, Avenida de los Reyes Católicos. Turn left and walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the Plaza Mayor. From the Plaza Mayor, follow the walking directions above to get to Puerta de San Juan.
