    If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the nearest major city, Cáceres. Take the EX-100 road towards the west for approximately 40 kilometers. You will then merge onto the EX-208 road, following the signs for Torrejón el Rubio. After about 10 kilometers, you will reach Torrejón el Rubio. Continue following the signs for Parque Nacional de Monfragüe. The castle is located within the national park, and there is a small parking area near the entrance. Note that the parking may incur a small fee, typically around €2.
