Getting there

Bus

From Santiago de Compostela, head to the main bus station, Estación de Autobuses. You can walk there from the city center; it’s about a 15-minute walk. Once at the bus station, look for a bus heading towards Dumbría or Ézaro. These buses typically operate several times a day. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. When you arrive at the bus stop in Ézaro, follow the signs to the Ézaro waterfall, which is about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. You will walk along the main road, then take a path towards the river until you reach the waterfall.

Bike Rental

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Santiago de Compostela. Look for bike rental shops near the city center. Once you have your bike, head out of the city towards the N550 road that leads to Dumbría. Follow the road signs to Dumbría, and then continue towards Ézaro. The ride will take about 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on your pace. Upon reaching Ézaro, park your bike and walk to the waterfall, which is a short distance away.

Taxi or Ride-Sharing

For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi or using a ride-sharing app from Santiago de Compostela to Ézaro. This option is more expensive but will get you directly to your destination without transfers. The trip will take approximately 1 hour, and you can ask the driver to drop you off at the Ézaro waterfall.

Hiking

For the adventurous spirit, you can hike to Ézaro. Start from Santiago de Compostela and take the Camino de Santiago route towards Fisterra. This route will bring you through beautiful landscapes.
