Rias Baixas PRIVATE Shore tour
A Real Taste of a Local Experience
Our guide, Elena, took us out of Vigo itself to some fabulous villages nearby along the estuaries. She gave us a great history of the area and explained the vineyards, architecture, foods, etc, then took us to those places for a firsthand experience. We had a tour and tasting at a family owned winery where the owners, Maria and David, went out of their way to show us their operation. The language difference wasn’t a terrible problem bc their English was much better than my Spanish. We also went to an active fishing village and took a ferry to a working shellfish farm and sampled the product right there on the boat. The day was topped off with some lunch in a local waterside cafe followed by a stroll through the ancient streets and cute shops. Perfect day all the way around.

Full-day tour and boat trip to Rías Baixas from Santiago
We had the best time! Noel made sure that we were all comfortable! My husband and I were among the few English speaking guest. Noel was very conscious to be sure that we understood all of the details of the trip. We had a great time!
