If you're driving from Santiago de Compostela, take the AP-53 motorway towards Ourense. After approximately 40 km, take exit 20 towards Lalín. Continue on the N-525 road for about 10 km until you reach Lalín. Once in Lalín, follow signs to Rúa Monte Faro. The Quilómetro Zero de Galiza is located at Rúa Monte Faro, 1, 36500 Lalín, Pontevedra. Look for parking options nearby, as the area can get busy.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Quilómetro Zero de Galiza using public transportation, take a bus from Santiago de Compostela to Lalín. The ALSA bus company operates this route, and buses leave from the Santiago de Compostela bus station. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Lalín bus station, it is about a 10-minute walk to Rúa Monte Faro. Head northeast on Rúa do Mercado, then turn left onto Rúa Monte Faro, where you will find the Quilómetro Zero de Galiza.
Public Transportation (Train)
If you prefer traveling by train, take a train from Santiago de Compostela to the Lalín train station. The journey typically takes around 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Lalín train station, you can either take a taxi (approximately 5-10 euros) or walk to Quilómetro Zero de Galiza, which is around 2 km away. To walk, head north on Rúa do Mercado and then turn left onto Rúa Monte Faro.
