Walking
From the center of Figueres, start at Plaça de l'Ajuntament. Head southeast on Carrer de la Jonquera. Continue straight until you reach Carrer de Sant Pau. Turn right onto Carrer de Sant Pau and walk until you reach Carrer de la Riera. Turn left and follow this street until it leads you to Pujada del Castell. At the end of Pujada del Castell, you will find the entrance to Castell de Sant Ferran.
Public Transport
If you are near the Figueres train station, take the line R11 or R1 towards Barcelona and get off at Figueres - Vilafant. From there, head south towards Carrer de la Riera. Walk along Carrer de la Riera until you reach the intersection with Carrer de Sant Pau. Turn left onto Carrer de Sant Pau, then follow the street to Pujada del Castell. The castle is at the end of this road.
Taxi
You can also take a taxi from any location in Figueres directly to Castell de Sant Ferran. Just tell the driver 'Castell de Sant Ferran' or show them the address: Pujada del Castell, s/n, 17600 Figueres. This is a quick option if you prefer not to walk.
