From the center of Figueres, start at Plaça de l'Ajuntament. Head southeast on Carrer de la Jonquera. Continue straight until you reach Carrer de Sant Pau. At the end of Pujada del Castell, you will find the entrance to Castell de Sant Ferran.

If you are near the Figueres train station, take the line R11 or R1 towards Barcelona and get off at Figueres - Vilafant. From there, head south towards Carrer de la Riera. Walk along Carrer de la Riera until you reach the intersection with Carrer de Sant Pau. Turn left onto Carrer de Sant Pau, then follow the street to Pujada del Castell. The castle is at the end of this road.
