Getting There

Bus
From the center of Girona, head to the Estació d'Autobusos (bus station) located at Carrer de la Estació. You can walk there in about 10-15 minutes from Plaça de la Independència. Once at the bus station, look for the bus line that goes to Sant Pol de Mar. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Platja de Sant Pol. From there, it’s a short walk to the beach.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle at one of the many rental shops in Girona. Start from the city center and head towards the Carrer de la Estació, then follow the signs for the cycling path toward the coast. The ride to Platja de Sant Pol will take about 1 hour. If you prefer to walk, begin at the Plaça de la Independència. From there, head south on Carrer de la Cort Reial, then turn right onto Carrer de l'Argenteria. Continue walking straight until you reach the river Onyar. Cross the bridge and follow the path along the river until you reach Carrer de la Estació. From there, you can either continue walking towards the coast, which will take approximately 2 hours, or take a bus from the bus station.
