Bus
From Girona, head to the bus station (Estació d'Autobusos de Girona) located at Carrer de Pau Casals, 2. You can walk there from the city center in about 15 minutes or take a taxi. Once at the bus station, look for the bus line that goes to Tossa de Mar. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. When you arrive at Tossa de Mar bus station, walk towards the beach area by following the signs. Platja Gran is a short 10-minute walk straight down Carrer de la Vila, and then you will see the beach ahead.
Train and Bus
First, make your way to the Girona train station, which is about a 20-minute walk from the city center or you can take a taxi. From Girona train station, take a train towards Barcelona and get off at Blanes station. From Blanes, transfer to a local bus heading to Tossa de Mar. The bus ride from Blanes to Tossa de Mar takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Tossa de Mar, follow the signs to Platja Gran, which is around a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you are already in Tossa de Mar, navigate towards the beach by heading down Carrer de la Vila. Walk straight until you reach the end of the street, where you will find Platja Gran. This beautiful beach is easily accessible and offers stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea.
