Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Girona Cathedral, located in the heart of the old town. Exit the cathedral and head southeast on Carrer de la Força. Continue walking straight until you reach Plaça de la Independència, a central square with restaurants and shops. From here, head southwest on Carrer del Riu Güell. After about 500 meters, turn left onto Carrer de la Creu and continue straight. Once you reach the bridge over the Onyar River, cross it and follow Carrer d'El Canyet until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Carrer de la Fontanilles. Continue on this road for approximately 2 kilometers. You will see signs leading to Pont de Gualta. Follow the signs, and soon you will find yourself at the bridge.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Girona, such as 'Girona Bike Rentals' near the cathedral. From there, head towards the Onyar River and follow the bike path along the riverbank. Keep going until you reach the roundabout at the end of the river. Take the first exit onto Carrer de la Fontanilles and cycle straight for about 2 kilometers. Watch for signs indicating Pont de Gualta; the bridge will be on your left. Make sure to follow local cycling guidelines for safety.
