Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the city center, start at Plaça de la Independència, which is a well-known square in Girona. From the square, head towards the river Onyar. Cross the bridge called 'Pont de les Peixateries Velles' for a beautiful view of the colorful houses along the river. Once you are on the other side, continue straight onto Carrer de la Força. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with Carrer de la Muralla. Turn left onto Carrer de la Muralla, and after a short walk, you will find Jardins dels Alemanys at C. de la Muralla, 2. The gardens are located just a few steps from the street, providing a serene escape within the city's walls.

• Public Transit

  If you are near the Girona Bus Station, you can take Bus Line L1 towards La Selva. Get off at the stop called 'Estació de Renfe'. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk. Exit the station and head south on Carrer de la Barca until you reach C. de la Força. Turn left onto Carrer de la Força and continue straight until you reach Carrer de la Muralla. Turn left on Carrer de la Muralla and Jardins dels Alemanys will be on your right at C. de la Muralla, 2.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more comfortable option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Girona. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Jardins dels Alemanys, C. de la Muralla, 2'. Taxis are readily available throughout the city, and this option will drop you directly at the entrance of the gardens.
