Walking
If you are starting from the historic center of Girona, head towards Plaça de la Independència. From the square, walk towards the Pont de Pedra bridge. Cross the bridge to reach the other side of the Onyar River. Once across, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Carrer de la Força. Take a left onto Carrer de la Força, which will lead you into the Old Town. Continue walking straight, and you will see the steps leading up to the Cathedral of Girona. Follow the signs for 'Catedral' as you ascend the Pujada a la Catedral, which is a beautiful staircase that leads you directly to the cathedral entrance.

If you are coming from the Girona Train Station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Carrer de Barcelona. Turn left and walk straight until you reach the Plaça de la Independència. From there, follow the instructions above to reach the Pujada a la Catedral.

Walk down this street until you reach the intersection with Pujada a la Catedral. Turn left and start climbing the stairs to reach the Cathedral of Girona. You'll enjoy beautiful views as you ascend.
