From the heart of El Mercadal, head east on Carrer de Santa Clara towards Plaça de la Independència. Continue straight until you reach the square. Once at Plaça de la Independència, turn left onto Carrer de l'Argenteria. Follow this street until you reach Carrer dels Alemanys, where you will see the entrance to Muralles de Girona on your right. The total walking distance is approximately 900 meters, which should take around 10-12 minutes.
