    Getting There

    Walking

    If you are starting from the Girona Cathedral, head down the steps from the cathedral square. Once you reach the bottom, turn left onto Carrer de la Força. Continue straight until you reach the Plaça de la Independència, a large square filled with cafes and restaurants. From there, take Carrer de la Rutlla, which leads you into the Barri Vell area. Follow the signs for 'El Call' or 'Jewish Quarter' to explore this historic part of the city.

    If you are starting from the Girona Train Station, exit the station and head towards the bridge over the river Onyar. Cross the bridge, and you will find yourself on Carrer de la Creu. Continue straight until you reach Carrer de la Força, then turn right. Follow this road up to the Plaça de la Independència, and continue as described in the previous guidance to reach Barri Vell.
