If you are starting from the Girona Cathedral, head down the steps from the cathedral square. Once you reach the bottom, turn left onto Carrer de la Força. Continue straight until you reach the Plaça de la Independència, a large square filled with cafes and restaurants. From there, take Carrer de la Rutlla, which leads you into the Barri Vell area.
