Walking
If you are starting from the famous Plaza Nueva, head east onto Calle Reyes Católicos. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle Gran Vía de Colón. Turn left onto Gran Vía de Colón, and walk until you see the entrance to Calle Almireceros on your right. Take Calle Almireceros and continue walking straight until you find yourself at the foot of the Alhambra. From here, take the path that leads down towards the river. You will eventually reach Paseo de los Tristes, where you will find Fuente del Paseo de los Tristes.

Public Transport
From the central bus station (Estación de Autobuses de Granada), take bus line C2 towards 'Catedral'. Get off at the stop 'Catedral'. From there, follow the same walking directions as from Plaza Nueva: head east onto Calle Reyes Católicos, turn left onto Gran Vía de Colón, then take Calle Almireceros down towards the Alhambra, and finally walk along the river until you reach Fuente del Paseo de los Tristes.

After visiting the gardens, exit the Alhambra complex through the exit that leads to the river.
