Getting There

• Bus

  From Huelva city center, head to the main bus station at Avenida de Andalucía. Look for the line 3 bus, which goes towards Palos de la Frontera. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you reach the Palos de la Frontera bus stop, disembark, and you will see signs directing you to La Rabida Monastery. It is about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop; follow the signs towards Paraje de La Rábida.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Huelva city center directly to La Rabida Monastery. Taxis are available throughout the city, and the journey will take around 25 minutes. Just provide the driver with the address: Paraje de La Rábida, s/n, 21819 Palos de la Frontera.

• Bicycle

  For a more adventurous option, you can rent a bicycle in Huelva. Start at the Parque de las Palomas and take the path towards the coast. Follow the coastal cycle route towards Palos de la Frontera. The distance is approximately 12 kilometers and should take about an hour. Once you arrive in Palos de la Frontera, look for signs leading to La Rabida Monastery.

• Walking

  If you're feeling energetic and the weather permits, you can walk from Huelva to La Rabida Monastery. Start at the Plaza de las Monjas in the city center and head towards the Avenida de Andalucía. Follow the road signs to Palos de la Frontera; it's about a 10-kilometer walk that will take roughly 2 hours. Enjoy the scenery along the way!
