Bus
From the center of Huelva, you can take the bus from the main bus station (Estación de Autobuses de Huelva). Look for bus line 2 that goes towards the direction of the neighboring town of Aljaraque. After about 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Aljaraque'. From there, transfer to bus line 3, which will take you towards the town of San Bartolomé de la Torre. The total journey may take around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you reach San Bartolomé de la Torre, check for a local taxi to take you to Barragem de Odeleite, which is approximately a 15-minute ride away.
Bicycle
Start from the Plaza de las Monjas in Huelva. Head southeast on Calle San José towards the river until you reach the promenade along the Guadalquivir River. Follow the path along the river until you see signs for the bike route towards the N122 road. Continue along the bike route for about 12 km (7.5 miles). You will pass through picturesque countryside and small villages. Keep following the signs until you reach Barragem de Odeleite. The ride will take approximately 1-1.5 hours depending on your pace.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk to Barragem de Odeleite, start at the Plaza de las Monjas in Huelva. Walk east on Calle San José to reach the Niebla road (A-494). Follow this road towards the town of Niebla, which is about 20 km away and will take approximately 4-5 hours of walking. Once in Niebla, you can ask locals for directions to Barragem de Odeleite, which is about 10 km away and may require a taxi to reach. It's important to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as this is a long trek.
