If you're near Gran Vía, head to the Gran Vía Metro station (Lines 1 and 5). Take Line 1 (the light blue line) towards Pinar de Chamartín. Alight at the 'Chueca' station. From Chueca, transfer to Line 5 (the green line) at the 'Chueca' station and head towards 'Casa de Campo'. Get off at the 'Chamberí' station. Exit the station and walk approximately 10 minutes northeast on C. de Almagro until you reach Casa Garay at number 42.

You can also take a bus to reach Casa Garay. Locate a nearby bus stop and check the Madrid EMT bus service. Take line 147 or 3, heading towards 'Chamberí'. You will get off at the 'Almagro - Chamberí' stop. From there, walk about 5 minutes down C. de Almagro to reach Casa Garay at number 42.
