Getting There

  • Metro

    From Salamanca, walk to the nearest metro station, which is 'Núñez de Balboa' (Line 5, Green Line). Board the metro heading towards 'Casa de Campo'. After two stops, get off at 'Retiro' station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs towards El Retiro Park. Velázquez Palace is located within the park at P.º de Venezuela, 2, Retiro.

    You can take Bus Line 19 from Salamanca. Look for the bus stop named 'Príncipe de Vergara - Núñez de Balboa' and board the bus heading towards 'Avenida de la Ciudad de Barcelona'.
