Train
From Málaga city center, walk to the Málaga María Zambrano train station. You can take Line C-1 (Cercanías) train towards Álora. The train ride takes about 50 minutes. Get off at the El Chorro station. From there, you can take a taxi or a local bus to the entrance of Caminito del Rey, which is about 10 minutes away.
Bus
Head to the Estación de Autobuses de Málaga (the main bus station), which is located near the city center. Look for the ALSA bus service that goes to Ardales. The bus journey takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Ardales, you may need to take a taxi to the north access of Caminito del Rey, which is approximately a 15-minute drive.
Walking and Bus
If you're feeling adventurous, you can walk to the nearest bus station for the local bus service to Ardales. Start from the city center, head towards Avenida de Andalucía, and look for the bus stop that has services to Ardales. This option will take longer, so plan for about 2 hours total travel time including waiting for the bus. Once in Ardales, take a taxi to the north entrance of Caminito del Rey.
