Walking
From Pedregalejo, head towards the beach promenade (Paseo de Pedregalejo). Walk along the promenade in the direction of the city center. After approximately 1.5 km, you will reach the end of the promenade. Turn left onto Calle de José Manuel García, which will lead you uphill. Continue following this road until you reach the intersection with Calle Gibralfaro. From there, you will see signs directing you to Castillo de Gibralfaro.
Public Bus
From Pedregalejo, walk to the nearest bus stop 'Pedregalejo'. Take Line 11 (Málaga city center) towards 'El Palo'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop 'Alameda Principal'. From there, transfer to Line 35 towards 'Gibralfaro'. The bus will take you directly to a stop close to the Castillo. Please note that the bus rides cost around €1.40 per person.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct and comfortable option, you can take a taxi from Pedregalejo to Castillo de Gibralfaro. Just flag down a taxi or use a rideshare app. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic and will cost approximately €10-€15.
