Getting There

• Bus

  From the city center of Murcia, walk to the Estación de Autobuses (bus station), which is located at Calle del Ingeniero de la Cierva, 8. Here, you can catch a bus to Pilar de la Horadada. Look for the bus line that goes to 'Pilar de la Horadada' or 'Torrevieja', as they both stop at your destination. The bus ride will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Pilar de la Horadada bus station, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Mil Palmeras.

• Train + Bus

  Take a train from the Murcia del Carmen train station to Torrevieja. The train journey will take around 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Torrevieja train station, exit and find the nearest bus stop. You will want to catch a local bus heading towards Pilar de la Horadada. The bus ride from Torrevieja to Pilar de la Horadada will take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving in Pilar de la Horadada, you can walk or get a local taxi to reach Mil Palmeras.

• Taxi

  If you prefer direct transport, you can take a taxi from the center of Murcia directly to Mil Palmeras. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic. Ensure to confirm the fare with the driver before embarking on your journey.

• Bicycle

  For the adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Murcia and ride towards Mil Palmeras. The distance is about 40 km, and the ride will take approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on your speed and the route you take. Follow the signs towards Torrevieja and then to Pilar de la Horadada. Make sure to wear a helmet and stay hydrated.
