Getting There

  • By Car

    If you're traveling by car, the easiest way to reach Las Bardenas Reales is to start from Pamplona, the capital of Navarre. Head southeast on the A-15 motorway towards Tudela. After approximately 75 km, take exit 6 for the N-125 towards Arguedas. Once you reach Arguedas, follow the signs for Las Bardenas Reales. There are several entrances to the park, but the most popular is the 'Centro de Visitantes El Paso', where you can find parking facilities. Make sure to pay attention to the road signs as you approach the park, and be prepared for some unpaved roads within the park itself. There are no entry fees for most areas of the park, but check for any specific activities that may incur costs.

    If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Pamplona to Tudela. Buses are available from the Pamplona bus station, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once in Tudela, you will need to take a taxi or a local bus to reach Arguedas, as public transport options to the town may be limited. Taxis are available outside the Tudela bus station, and the ride to Arguedas should cost around 20-25 euros. Once in Arguedas, follow the signs to Las Bardenas Reales. The distance from Arguedas to the park is roughly 10 km, so if you prefer walking and are up for a hike, it’s possible to walk, but it may take over 2 hours.
