Car
If you are driving, head towards Usún, Navarre. From Pamplona, take the A-15 motorway towards Irurtzun. After about 30 km, take the exit towards A-10 and merge onto NA-132 towards Usún. Follow the signs for Usún, and as you approach the village, look for signs indicating Foz de Arbayún. There is a parking area available near the entrance to the nature preserve. Please note that parking may incur a small fee, typically around €2-€5 depending on the duration of your visit.
Public Transportation
To reach Foz de Arbayún via public transportation, take a bus from Pamplona to the nearest town, which is Arazuri. Several bus companies operate this route, and the trip usually takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Arazuri, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a local shuttle service to take you the remaining distance to Foz de Arbayún, which is approximately 15 km away. It is advisable to check local bus schedules in advance, as they may vary. The taxi fare could be around €15-€20.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, cycling to Foz de Arbayún is a thrilling option. From Pamplona, follow the cycle paths through the countryside towards Usún. The distance is about 37 km, and the route is mostly flat, making it accessible for most cyclists. Bring water and snacks for the journey, and allow approximately 2-3 hours for the ride. Note that you may need to lock your bike at the designated parking area near the entrance.
