Once you arrive at the bus station, look for the bus company ALSA that operates routes to Colunga. Purchase a ticket to Colunga, which should take around 45 minutes. Upon arrival in Colunga, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Playa de La Griega, which is approximately a 10-minute taxi ride away.

From Oviedo, walk to the Oviedo Train Station (Estación de tren de Oviedo) located on Calle de la Estación. This is about a 20-minute walk from the city center. Once at the station, take a train to the town of Villaviciosa. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Villaviciosa station, transfer to the local bus service that goes to Colunga. The bus ride from Villaviciosa to Colunga will take about 20 minutes. After arriving in Colunga, you can take a taxi or walk to Playa de La Griega, which is roughly 5 km away, approximately a 15-minute taxi ride.
