Walking
From the city center, head towards the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. From the plaza, take Calle Uría heading southeast. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle de la Independencia. Turn right onto Calle de la Independencia and follow it until you reach the end, where it merges with P.º de la Florida. Continue straight on P.º de la Florida for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for the Camino de Santiago Primitivo along the way, guiding you to the starting point at P.º de la Florida, 46.

From Oviedo city center, walk to the bus station located at Avenida de Galicia. Look for the bus line that goes to 'Grado' (Bus number may vary, please check the local schedule). Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. After approximately 30 minutes, alight at the Grado stop. From the bus stop, walk to the nearest Camino de Santiago signage and follow the route signs towards the Primera etapa, which is well-marked and leads you through beautiful countryside.
