Casa Paquet: A Historical Gem in Gijón

Getting There

• Bus

  From Oviedo, head to the Estación de Autobuses de Oviedo (Bus Station). You can walk there from the city center by heading south on Calle Uría until you reach Calle de la Estación. Once there, purchase a ticket for a bus to Gijón. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Gijón bus station, exit and head north on Avenida de la Constitución. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle Oscar Olavarría, where Casa Paquet is located.

• Train

  Make your way to the Oviedo train station, located at Calle José Fernández de la Vega. Take a train towards Gijón, which typically takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Gijón station, exit and walk north on Calle de la Estación towards Avenida de la Constitución. Follow Avenida de la Constitución until you reach Calle Oscar Olavarría, where Casa Paquet is situated.

• Walking

  If you're already in Gijón, you can walk to Casa Paquet. Start at the Plaza Mayor and head east on Calle del Marqués until you reach the intersection with Avenida de la Constitución. Turn left onto Avenida de la Constitución and continue until you reach Calle Oscar Olavarría. Turn right onto Calle Oscar Olavarría and you will find Casa Paquet at number 1.

• Taxi

  You can take a taxi from anywhere in Oviedo directly to Casa Paquet. Simply ask the taxi driver to take you to C. Oscar Olavarría in Gijón. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
