Car
If you're traveling by car, start your journey from the town of Cangas de Onís. Head east on the N-625 road towards the Picos de Europa National Park. After approximately 23 km, take the exit for the A-261 towards Covadonga. Continue on the A-261 for about 12 km until you reach the village of Covadonga. Here, you can park your car in the designated parking areas (note: parking fees may apply, typically around €5-€10). From Covadonga, follow the signs for the Lakes of Covadonga (Lagos de Covadonga) and drive up to the lakes area. The road to the lakes is narrow and winding, so drive carefully.
