Getting There

    From the main bus station in Ronda (Estación de Autobuses), take the bus to Ardales. Buses are operated by companies such as ALSA. Make sure to check the schedule ahead of time for departure times. The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Once you arrive in Ardales, you can follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Playa Ardales, which is located near the lakes.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer a more active route, you can rent a bicycle in Ronda. Head out of Ronda towards the A-367 road. Follow the A-367 to the junction with the MA-5403, which leads directly to Ardales. The journey is about 25 kilometers and can take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Once you reach Ardales, follow the signs to Playa Ardales.

  • Walking

    For adventurous travelers, a long trek from Ronda to Playa Ardales is possible. Start in Ronda and walk towards the A-367 road. Follow the road until you reach the MA-5403, which leads to Ardales. Note that this is a lengthy walk of approximately 25 kilometers and may take 5 to 6 hours.
