Getting There

• Train

  From San Sebastián, head to the Amara Train Station (Estación de Amara). You can get there by walking or taking a bus (Line 24 or Line 28) to the station. Once at Amara, catch a train towards Hendaye, which typically takes around 30 minutes. Ensure to check the train schedule for timings. Upon arrival at Hendaye station, exit the station and walk towards Rte de la Corniche, which is about a 15-minute walk from the station.

• Bus

  From San Sebastián, head to the main bus station (Estación de Autobuses). You can reach the station by walking or taking a local bus. Look for buses heading to Hendaye; the journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Hendaye bus station, exit and walk towards Rte de la Corniche, which is approximately a 20-minute walk.

• Bicycle

  If you are comfortable cycling, you can rent a bicycle in San Sebastián. Head towards the coastal path that leads to Hendaye. The cycle route is scenic and follows the coastline, taking you through beautiful landscapes. The ride is approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on your pace. Once in Hendaye, follow the signs to Rte de la Corniche, which is easily accessible from the bike path.

• Walking

  For the adventurous, you can walk to Hendaye. From the center of San Sebastián, head towards the beach and follow the coastline towards the west. This scenic route will take you through the charming seaside areas and will take approximately 2 to 3 hours to reach Rte de la Corniche in Hendaye, depending on your walking speed.
