Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From the city center of San Sebastián, walk to the 'Donostia/San Sebastián' bus station (Estación de Autobuses), located at Avenida de Navarra, 1. Once there, purchase a ticket for a bus heading towards Biarritz or Anglet. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. You will want to get off at the 'Anglet' stop. After exiting the bus, walk towards the coastline following the signs that lead to Les Sables d'Or beach, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. You should be able to see the beach as you approach.

  • Train

    From the San Sebastián train station (Estación de Tren), take a train heading towards Bayonne. The journey will take around 30-40 minutes. Disembark at the Anglet train station. Once you arrive, exit the station and take a right onto Avenue de l'Adour, which leads you towards the coast. Walk straight down this road until you reach the beach (Les Sables d'Or) in about 20 minutes.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in San Sebastián. Head towards the Promenade of La Concha, cycling along the beachfront until you reach the 'Puente de la Zurriola' bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the signs directing you towards the cycle path leading to Anglet.
