Bus
From San Sebastián, head to the 'Donostia-San Sebastián' bus station located at Plaza de Pío XII. Take the bus number 8 or 28 towards Biarritz. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Get off at the 'Biarritz, Mairie' stop. From there, walk towards the ocean and take Av. Reine Victoria. La Chapelle Impériale will be on your left after about a 10-minute walk.
Train
Make your way to the 'Donostia-San Sebastián' train station located at Calle de la Estación. Purchase a ticket for the train heading towards Hendaye. Get off at the 'Hendaye' station and transfer to a local train or take a taxi to Biarritz. Once in Biarritz, head to Av. Reine Victoria, where La Chapelle Impériale is located. It is about a 15-minute walk from the station.
Taxi
You can easily find a taxi in San Sebastián. Simply ask the driver to take you to 'Av. Reine Victoria, 64200 Biarritz'. The journey will take around 30 minutes depending on traffic. This is the most direct route and will drop you off right at La Chapelle Impériale.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous, you can walk from the Spanish side to Biarritz. Start from the city center of San Sebastián and walk towards the border at Hendaye. Cross the bridge into France and continue walking towards Biarritz, following the coastal path. It is roughly a 2-hour walk, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and enjoy the scenic views along the way.
